While nobody's saying that Joel Cauchi's attack was motivated by the mass slaughter of women and children in Gaza, its interesting to note that Bondi Junction shopping mall is next to the headquarters of Australian Jewry at Central Synagogue in Bondi Junction and the attack at the mall was on the Jewish Sabbath, but did not occur at the synagogue itself, but, like Brooklyn and Stamford Hill, has a high population of Jews. Now, while I'm sure any hooker either male or female has mental problems it doesn't mean that they go on a killing spree. Anyway, I'm sad that Cauchi was shot dead when he was basically unarmed ie. plenty of people carry knives, especially in UK, but it doesn't mean that cops shoot them all dead. However, as in the movies, if Cauchi had pulled a gun on the cop then the cop could either wound him in his gun hand or failing that injure or fatally shoot him. So, as the saying goes in old Chinatown, I hereby rest my case.
