A serious situation has arisen with the Supt of Police in Ongole apparently instructing the British Dpty High Commission in Madras to issue me with an Emergency Travel Document ie. no passport and no choice to stay in India even though the judge had given me the choice and of course we have also still not received our 2 old passports back from the court. So, this could end up being extremely difficult as I'm liable to be grabbed at any time and hauled off to God knows where with the total loss of my house, money and belongings. Regarding an ETD, it costs about the same as an ordinary passport ie. 100 pounds, and a date to leave India has to be specified. I'm sorry to have to inform you of this development and would appreciate everyone's prayers at this time. With love to all, Tony
