It has just come to my attention that the policy of Hamas changed in June 2024 after the Israelis mass murdered hundreds of Palestinians during their freeing of 4 Israeli hostages in Gaza on 8th June 2024 which meant that any attempt by Jews to mass murder civilians in their attempts to free Jewish captives would result in the execution of the captives. So, although the whole of Gaza has been reduced to a heap of rubble and dead bodies any surviving hostages who Israeli forces attempt to rescue militarily will be executed by Hamas. Hence, the 6 dead bodies found by Israeli forces in Rafah on the night of Sat/Sun 31st Aug/1st Sept 2024 were either already dead from Israeli bombing or any still living were executed by Hamas prior to Israeli forces finding them. The point now is that because Israel refuses to exchange hostages peacefully they will now only find them dead rather than alive if they continue their military assault on Gaza.
